Easy and Tidy Connection to Your External Transceiver!

The cable assembly accessory is an essential add-on for anyone wanting to use their DMX-40 or MMX Morse Code Transceiver with an external transceiver (External Mode).  The cable assembly actually consists of two separate cable assemblies:

    1. The first cable connects the KEY IN/OUT connector on the DMX-40 to your straight key and the key in on your external transceiver, using either a 3.5mm or ¼" plug.  
    2. The second cable connects the AUDIO IN connector on the MMX or DMX-40 to the headphone jack on your external transceiver (both 3.5mm and ¼" plugs are supplied), and an external powered speaker.

Save a bundle, and have a very neat setup as well, with this custom-designed cable assembly package made for this application!  No more multiple Y connectors and jumbled wires!

Well Built cable setup and simple to use

I just received my DMX-40 and the new set of cables. If you've been struggling with patches, double plug dongles or home made setups that work "sometimes" try these cables from Preppcom. The set comes with everything you need to listen to your external transceiver and transmit to it using either the keyboard or your straight key.

This was a no brainer to setup even before cracking open the manual on the DMX-40. The length is great for moving your DMX around in your workspace to find the perfect working location, and the cables are well built and so far seem sturdy enough for portable use. More to come in the videos.
